SEASON OVERVIEW
VENICE YOUTH Soccer League: WINTER 2025 will run for 8 weeks from Tuesday September 2nd to Saturday October 26th. Tuesdays will continue to be technical, theme-based training sessions and Saturdays will serve as Game Day where the players get the opportunity to play small-sided competition in our intra-squad setting.

4:00-5:00pm | Youngers (5-7 year olds)
5:15-6:15pm | Olders (8-14 year olds)
SATURDAYS | Game Day
10:00-11:00am | Youngers (5-7 year olds)
11:15-12:15pm | Olders (8-14 year olds)

Age Group Information:
VENICE YOUTH Soccer League is designed for players aged 5-14 years old (8th grade) and is designed and setup to be a two-day a week commitment, which includes one Training Day and one Game Day. VENICE YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE: 5-7 Year Olds
Venice Youth Soccer League begins with our 5-7 year old groups, who are introduced to proper technique and how to work within a team dynamic. Players are introduced to competitive games that inspire them to work with one another and put forth effort to learning how to use each surface of the foot and each aspect of technical development. Players begin to learn the basics of controlling, dribbling, passing, and shooting the ball.
VENICE YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE: 8-10 Year Olds
THE LATEST 8-10 year old groups begin to really hone in on their technique so that the basics of the game become possible and applicable in game situations. We work on attacking and defensive concepts, while teaching them how to play effectively with their teammates. In this age group we begin to introduce to them how to properly utilize their spacing and expect them to understand passing, receiving, and being organized as a team.
VENICE YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE: 11-14 Year Olds
Our 11-14 year old groups are the oldest age group within Venice Youth Soccer League who enjoy their last few years of recreational soccer before finishing their journey within the League. These players will all have been given the tools to play the game with a strong understanding of the technical and tactical concepts required to play at their middle school teams and prepare them for high school.
