Venice Beach Football Club (VBFC) is a community club started by former players and rising local talents. In ten years it’s become one of Los Angeles’s most diverse soccer communities for all ages, with fans worldwide. Since 2016 VBFC has run free pickup games every Sunday at the Estadio. Big clubs and stars—World Cup winners like Ronaldinho and Kylian Mbappé, and Champions League names such as Rafael Leão, Eduardo Camavinga, Weston McKennie, Diego Forlán, and Diego Costa—have joined in.
Venice Beach FC’s home ground and brand have been featured in EA Sports’ FIFA and FC games for six years. VBFC has partnered with clubs like Arsenal, Atlético Madrid, Manchester United, Botafogo, Venezia, and appeared in work by artists worldwide, showing football
in Venice Beach, California. The club runs a unique youth academy that has faced top global teams — Atlético Madrid, Juventus, Chivas Guadalajara, Sevilla, Athletic Bilbao — and local pros like LAFC and San Jose Earthquakes. Its youth teams have already moved several local players into professional clubs in the US and Mexico.
