Ronaldinho Visits Venice Beach Football Club

On Monday, June 17th, the one and only Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, famously known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho, is celebrated at the Estadio De Dogtown. Some call him simply Dinho or Gaúcho. Worldwide, he’s arguably the most beloved footballer in history — and very likely your favorite player’s favorite player.
Venice Beach Football Club along with Nike setup a surprise vist from the Brazilian, stopping by the beach to see a mural going up of his face next to Ronaldo & vini Jr, all while delivering the famous Nike briefcase to the next generation of talent playing on the court.
In London, Ronaldinho famously pulled up in a Mercedes G-Wagon. This being LA, it was only fitting to have him pull up in a pink Cadillac lowrider while hitting the switches as he went under the famous Venice Sign and continued towards the iconic courts where the crowd was gathered awaiting a glimpse of their favorite player of all time.
VBFC had welcomed the magician to visit the Clubhouse beforehand where he was greeted with a message from his long time friend from Brazil, current Venice legend and samba artist, Roge. Roge, who couldn’t be present due to the musician touring Europe for shows, had recorded a video to greet his old friend and welcome him to the club.
VBFC then went on to show dinho their clubhouse and the special kit they made for him to celebrate his visit to the beach. He eventually made his way to the courts as a crowd of children and adults screamed and ran after the car carrying him the entire way. A sea of fans were awaiting him with the Venice BEACH Academy playing on the court as he arrived and the brazilian drummers played into the evening welcoming their king.
